I recently moved to the United States from South Africa where I taught Art Theory and Visual Culture at the University of Cape Town. While my writing preferences are predominantly academic I am increasingly discovering the creative wonders of Poetry and Children’s Literature.
I have a passion for cheesecake and coffee of which I drink gallons from a cracked china tea cup. My lifelong ambition was to become an ‘adult’ and my most joyous moments are spent in the company of animals.
I am delighted to be writing again and will be tackling pretty much anything and everything that takes my fancy in the hopes of sharpening my dulled pencil….
I have to admit to being very new to the art of blogging so please forgive me if things on my page echo around for a little while; I am still trying to work out how all the bits and bobs work around here!
